The Vicar Jose Varughese achen is a renowned priest in the Marthoma Sabha. He has excellent leadership , administration and spiritual ministry skills. He has been serving at St. Johns since April 2007.He resides along with Kochamma and their two sons Jeffin and Meffin , in the parsonage next to the church. Achen is always looking out to welcome new members to the St John’s family. He always has time to spend along with the burdened ,weary and those requiring prayer help. The Diocesan Bishop Mar Theodosius studied at Baselious College, Kottayam and Mar Thoma College Thiruvalla. After taking a degree in Science he joined Leonard Theological College and took BD Degree in 1972. His ordination as Kasseesa was in the year 1973. In 1980 he took a Masters Degree in Comparative Religions from Visva Bharathi University and Doctorate from Mc Master University, Hamilton, Canada in 1986. He was consecrated as Episcopa on December 9, 1989 along with Mar Athanasius and Mar Coorilos. |
